What can I publish?
Original short fiction, of any genre, between 500 and 20,000 words. If it's yours and it's well-crafted, it belongs here.
What does it cost?
Nothing! It'll always be free to publish.
Do I keep my rights?
Yes. Your work stays yours, and we won't sell or redistribute it without your involvement.
How do I get paid?
Connect your PayPal in the author workspace. Every story liked by a Novellea Premium subscriber earns a share of that month's pool.
Can I use AI?
You can use it to research, outline and edit. But you should write the story. The voice has to be yours.
What counts as a short story?
Between 500 and 20,000 words, and it can be standalone or part of a series. Our readers commit more readily to completed work, so if you're writing a series, please mark it clearly.
Copyright
We don't tolerate copyright infringement. If you suspect someone is infringing your work, please submit a report and we'll investigate. Anyone found infringing will have their content removed immediately, and risk account suspension or ban.
What's not allowed?
Anything that breaches our Content & Community Guidelines. The short version: nothing hateful or harmful, and nothing that isn't yours.

Is it free?
Yes! Start free and read every day. Novellea Premium unlocks unlimited stories, offline reading, and no ads for £5 a month.
Where does my subscription go?
Directly to the writers you read. Like a story and that author gets paid. The vast majority of every Novellea Premium subscription goes to the creator, not the platform.
How do I get started?
