Authors

The Novellea Workspace allows authors to write, edit and publish stories onto the Novellea app.

Getting started as an author

If you have already signed up through the Novellea app, please use the same login details to sign into the Novellea Workspace, otherwise:

Go to the Novellea Workspace login page.
Click Create Account and then complete the registration details.
A verification email will be sent to you within a few minutes (please also check your junk mail).
Open the verification email.
Click on the verification link and you are now ready to login to the Novellea workspace.
You can now also log in to our Novellea app with the same login credentials.

Create and publish a story

Login to the Novellea Workspace.
Click New Story.
Complete the story details with the option to upload a book cover art image (please refer to our Content Guidelines for prohibited media content).
If your content is unsuited for the age of under 18 years old, please tick Contains Mature Content. Please refer to our Content Guidelines for guidance.
Click Start Story.
You can now begin to write your story and manage the chapters.
When you finish writing your story, click Publish to post the story onto our Novellea app (be sure you have a minimum of 500 words).
If you are not ready to publish your story on the Novellea app or you want to finish writing the story later, click Save.
Returning to the home screen will show all your saved and published stories.

Editing, retracting and deleting a story

Login to the Novellea Workspace.
To retract or delete a story, click the three-circle icon next to the story.
To edit the story details, open the story and click Edit Story Details.
To change the content of a story, simply edit away on your selected story.

Please note, your stories must be retracted before you can edit them.

Book cover art

Writers are given the freedom to upload any book cover art image (JPG/JPEG/PNG), up to 1MB to represent their story, but you must have the rights to use the image. Please read our Content Guidelines for more information.

Search for a story

Login to the Novellea Workspace.
Find A Story search bar can be found at the top of the page.

How to claim your subscription rewards

If you have connected your PayPal account and are eligible for payouts (having accrued a minimum amount), you will receive an email from PayPal near the end of each month requesting acceptance of payment.

You can view your payouts from the revenue page on the Novellea Workspace. There will be a payout status alongside each payout indicating its current state.
